There’s another embroidery book that I’ve recently become hooked on, quite unlike the fine embroidery I’ve been ‘churning out’ recently.

I think embroidery is so appealing to me at the moment because of immediate pleasing effect you get, even just after an hour of stitching.

So many projects, never enough bags.

But now I have one more courtesy of DMC who gave us bloggers a DMC goodie bag at the recent CHSI Stitches trade show.

One of the lovely kits inside was a hot off the press ‘Custom by me!’ DMC kit.

A CHSI yarn

With over 40 years experience and over 200 exhibitors and without the usual crowds, the CHSI Stitches trade fair was truely worth taking a day off work for.

So where do I start?

With the Yarnia display by Creative World of Craft? Based on the famous Narnia series of books by C.S. Lewis – The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and featuring awe-inspiring scenes straight from Narnia, including that of the White Witch, Warrior Queen and all the others.
